Thanks for visiting Marching for Mark!  We are committed, once again, to participate in the March for Babies to remember our friend, Mark, and to say "Thank you" to the March of Dimes. 

We have already raised over $25,000 for this year, with over $15,000 from QuinStreet sponsored walkers!  It is not too late to join one of our local walks or sponsor the team. 

Cake Works Cares is scheduled for May 30th.  The Cake Works will donate 20% of the sales for the day to the March of Dimes on behalf of Marching for Mark.  Also that day, we will hold a raffle for some great prizes!  You do not need to be present to win, and raffle tickets are available for $1 each, 6 tickets for $5 or 25 tickets for $20.  Prizes include a cupcake basket from The Cake Works, dinner for two at The Basin in Saratoga, a mini-facial at Serenity Day Spa in San Jose, a gift certificate to Nail Expo in San Jose, a haircut at Salon Rache in Campbell, dog wash and grooming from Heidi's Critter Care, a one hour private dog obedience consultation from Prins Pet Care, a gift Certificate to Chili's and an Apple Swag basket with goodies from Apple!  More prizes are being donated all the time so we will keep you posted!  Raffle tickets are available at the Cake Works or by emailing the Captains!

Our grand total for 2008 fundraising was $27,631! Over $12,000 of this was from QuinStreet sponsored walkers.  Marching for Mark again made it into the top 10 Family Teams in the nation - squeaking in at number 9!  Way to go fundraisers and sponsors!  We appreciate your help and look forward to making it in there again in 2009!!!

March of Dimes raises funds for life-saving research, innovative educational programs and essential support for families who have a baby in neonatal intensive care in our community and across the nation. Come walk for someone you love!
